Manuel Ernesto Armenta, 58, passed away December 23, 2013. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 7, 1955.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Tijerina Armenta, and two brothers,Ricky Montoya,and Pete Armenta, his sister-in-law, Angie Armenta.
He is survived by his children, Laura (Robert) Villarreal, Manuel Armenta, Jr., Isabel Armenta, Mandy (Fidel) Garcia, Manny (Selina) Armenta, Nancy (Joseph) Sanchez, twenty grandchildren, and one great grandchild, father, Cipriano Armenta, sisters Janie (Richard) Ysassi, Olga Armenta, Lydia (Jesse) Montoya.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Guardian funeral home Chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic church/2509 Nogales/Macarthur. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery.
