Obituary
Macario S. Perez, 87, passed away November 24, 2018; after a brief illness.
Loving Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and an American Hero.
He taught his children to have a firm faith in God, to be strong, loyal, respectful to others, and independent. He expressed every day of his life that one of his greatest joys were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They all brought him so much pride and happiness.
All in all, he desired to do good and to help everyone that he could. The legacy of Macario's kind spirit and zest for life will live on through his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Guadalupe Perez; brother Jose Maria Perez; two sisters: Lorenza Perez and Josefa Longoria. He is survived by his children: Lorenza Perez, Ester Garcia (Stephen), Carmen Perez, Johnny Joe Perez (Amy), Victor Perez (Jessica), Leonel Perez; sisters: Mary Perez and Cruz Olguin; brother Pedro Perez; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel ''B'' with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic church. Burial will follow in Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery.
