June 30, 1921 – December 9, 2019
On December 9, 2019, Mabel Virginia King passed away at the age of 98.
Virginia was born on June 30, 1921 in Aurora, New York to Charles Milton and Ethel Eleanor Wilmouth Reese.
Virginia lived a full life filled with adventure, happiness, and an abundance of love. Virginia was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Army as a medical technician. After her service time in the military, she set her focus on raising her 3 children and being an active member of the community.
Virginia was met with open arms into heaven by her life love Richard Barta and many family members including a son George King; a daughter Emma Ruth Minnich, and grandson Travis King.
She is survived by her son Vern King; her stepdaughter Cheryl Stubblefield; grandchildren: Richard King, Heather Kurtz, Michelle Jennings, Virginia Ann Allat, Marshall Minnich, Matthew Minnich, and Michael Minnich. Virginia was also beloved by many great, and great-great grandchildren.
As she is now with the LORD, may you have the assurance of seeing her again one day!

Public Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Waldron Road Baptist Church 2042 Waldron Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78418 Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. that morning.
Interment with full military honor will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Duncan cemetery 2500 Debra Ln. in Flour Bluff.
