Lydia Ann Cano, 73, gained her wings on February 26, 2024.

She was born on February 19, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas to her parents Jesus and Antonia G. Alvarez.

Everyone who knew Lydia, knew her family was the love of her life. Lydia will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed.

Lydia is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dennis G. Cano, three children: Denise P. Cano, Dennis P. Cano (Ana), Robert S. Cano (Laura); and six grandchildren. three sisters: Angie Rodriguez (Gilbert), Diana Reyna (Eulalio), Gloria Garcia; three brothers: Jesse Alvarez (Irma), Robert Alvarez (David), Tony Alvarez; along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

All Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Guardian Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a Holy rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m.
