It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our brother Luis Quinones of Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away April 7, 2023. He was known by "Louie" by some of his close friends and family.  He was 65 years of age. Luis was born in Alice, Texas on May 3, 1957.  He was preceded

in death by his father Sylvestre Quinones of Alice, Texas, his mother Maria M. Quinones of Corpus Christi, Texas, his sister Sanjuanita Zuniga of Patterson, California.  He is survived by three brothers, Juan Quinones, Robert Quinones who reside in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Gilbert Quinones of Patterson, California, and also had numerous nieces, and nephews.  Louie was a dear friend to all, and fun to be around with.  He was a superb guitarist, and artist.  The importance of his creative input in his solid guitar work in our music industry, and his love of painting on canvas was immense.  We mourn his tragic, and premature death and remember the sense of humor, the smiling face, the musical brilliance of the man who played such an intregal role in our musical world.   He will be deeply missed, and not ever forgotten."

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2023 at Memory Gardens cemetery 8200 Old Brownsville Rd.
