Louis De La Sierra Jr, 69, of Corpus Christi Tx, died December 12, 2020 at his sister's home surrounded by loved ones.
Louis was born February 06,1951 to Elisa (Alice) Rodriguez De La Sierra and Louis De La Sierra Sr. In Corpus Christi Tx.
He attended Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi Tx. and graduated class of 1971. He continued his education with IBEW as an Apprentices, he later became a Journeyman Electrician, He perfected the trade as he traveled the Country from 1973- 2020.
Louis also lived a life of leisure in his younger years driving fast cars and riding his Motorcycle whenever he could. He also ran a prestigious night club in Brownsville Tx. that he referred to as the best times of his life.
He later was married to Alma Byars and became a father to his son Louis Aaron De La Sierra ,who he adored and devoted his life to. He was very proud of the man he had become as a loving husband and Father. During the years Louis also opened his heart and mentored his apprentice Cleofe Cruz. He cared for him dearly and saw him as another son.
Louis is survived by his Son Louis Aaron De La Sierra (Vanessa), grandchildren Haylie De La Sierra, and Louis Aaron De La Sierra. Sister, Gloria D. Rodriguez and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Alice De La Sierra.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 a Holy Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. with the Memorial Mass to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 5830 Williams Dr. Corpus Christi, Texas 78412
