Lottie Joy Nelson joined those loved ones who preceded her in heaven on June 29, 2024 at 6:22 pm.

Lottie was born on August 27th, 1951 in Greenbush, Minnesota and was the second daughter of Alpha and Olaf Frislie.

A few years later the family moved to Palmer, AK and she graduated from Palmer High School in 1969. After graduating she worked for the state of AK, Bureau of Management. In 1978, Lottie and Ed moved their family to Sacramento, California where they lived together until Ed's passing. Lottie owned and operated Park Road Stables until 2003 when she moved to Murrieta, CA. In June 2014 she made her final move to Corpus Christi, Texas.

Lottie was an amazing and loving mother to Eric Edward Nelson, Sherry Dawn Dyckman, Carrie Ann Mizenko and Brandon Sander.

She possessed the innate ability to be both a parent and a friend to all. Her opinion always had a value and her advice often heeded. In addition she was a wonderful grandmother to 10 grandchildren, Becky, Justin, Kira, LJ, Annika, Donnie, Bjorn, Violet, Tamara and Eric.

She was admired and respected by her two son-in-laws Eric Dyckman and Matt Mizenko.

Lastly, Lottie was the consummate wife, confidant and life partner of JD Sander for 31 Years. Her commitment and dedication to family, friends and all those whose lives she touched was a testament to her values and the way she lived her life.

She had many life long friends scattered across the country who still maintained contact. Lottie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing games, sewing, gardening, garage and estate sales, traveling and fishing.

Every time we see a hummingbird we'll know she came to visit us.

In closing, the world was a better place with her in it.
