Mrs. Linda Joyce Bernal, age 70, having enjoyed a long and full life, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Linda was born in Refugio, TX, where she was raised for the first 12 years of her life by her grandparents, Guadalupe and Josefina Lee; as well as her Uncle Joe Lee, who loved her like a little sister. She was preceded in death by her father, Vicente Guerrero. Linda is survived by her mother, Aurora Guerrero; her loving husband, Pablo "Paul" Bernal, with whom she would have celebrated fifty years of marriage in August; their three sons, Paul (Nora), Christopher (Natalie), and Jason (Stephanie); sisters, Yolanda Guerrero, Diana Garcia (Mariano) and Terry Anderson (Larry); five loving grandchildren, Vincent, Matthew, Lena, Sophia, and Olivia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid tole painter. She also loved to travel and visited numerous countries throughout the world. Linda will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m.until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Inurnment will follow on Monday July 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Road in Corpus Christi, Texas.
