IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lillian J.
Guerra
August 21, 1934 – October 18, 2025
Mrs. Lillian J. Guerra, 91, passed away on October 18, 2025. Lillian was a woman of deep faith and endless love. She was known for her carefree spirit, joyful laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. Above all, she loved Jesus — and she carried that love into everything she did and everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Jimenez, and her husband Alfred Jimenez, along with their children Alfred Jimenez IV, Matthew Jimenez (Jessica), and Stephanie Cordova (Andrew). She is also survived by her son, James Zamora, and his wife Betty Zamora, and their children Becky Cervantez (Ruben), Frankie Zamora (Jamie), Lillian Nieto (Andrew), Michael Zamora (Allison), and Christina Zamora.
Lillian was blessed with nine great-granddaughters — Charlotte, Avalyn, Audrie, Ella, Amanda, Amber, Isabella, Zoey, and Cali — and eight great-grandsons — Seth, Evan, Alex, Angelo, Jacob, Aiden, Damien, and Zachary. She also had two great-great-grandsons, Oscar and Julian.
Lillian's family and friends will forever cherish her warmth, her kindness, and the countless memories she created with each of them. They take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, rejoicing in heaven with her Lord. Though she will be deeply missed, her faith and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In celebration of Lillian's joyful spirit, her family asks that those attending her service wear color instead of black, as she herself never wore black and always embraced life with brightness and grace.
Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Guardian Funeral Home chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Guardian Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. with the funeral procession to depart at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 noon Funeral Mass at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church located at 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Burial will follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery located at 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas.
