Leonor Maria Lucio age 61, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 30, 2013. She was loved by many friends and family. Leonor Lucio also known as 'Nona' was born on December 24, 1951, in Corpus Christi Texas. She was born the day before Jesus Christ was born, and passed the day before his resurrection. Truly a 'special woman' from beginning to end! Leonor will be remembered for her Strong faith, for her Strong will to love and care for others, not only for her children but for many friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father Jesus Lucio, mother Rebecca Elena Bazan and brother Jesus Lucio Jr.
She is survived by her sons Mike Cardona, David Lucio, daughters Cyndi Cardona(Rick Perez),Samantha Hernandez(Jesse Hernandez),Divina Lucio(Reuben Guerra), and by her grandchildren who meant the 'world' to her Roy Mota, Sabrina Mota,Jasmine Hernandez,Ben Macias,Dario Valle,Alexis Cardona,Vivian Lucio,Karisa Lucio,Christian Hernandez,Sydney Lucio,Mikey Cardona,Vincent Guerra,Victoria Guerra,Dana Lucio,Devin Lucio,Vidette Guerra, and her loved sisters and brothers and many many nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held Wednesday April 3, 2013 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. private, with family to receive other family and friends 4:00 -9:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A. Funeral Services will be Thursday April 4, 2013 at The Church of Acts on Carroll Ln. at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
