Leona Mae Savoy passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023 at the age of 87, after a long battle with dementia.

She was born in Waelder, Texas to Emil and Mary Jurica on April 16, 1936.

Leona is joined now in heaven by her parents, her siblings, and her son James Savoy.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many is now at rest.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 68 years, Eddie Savoy; daughter Nancy (Rick) Gaugler, son Jack (Cindy) Savoy; grandchildren: Pamela (Jesse) Rodriguez, Clint (Jesse) Savoy; two great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; along with a host of extended family whom she loved dearly.

The family wishes to send their heartfelt appreciation to Holy Savior Hospice for the gracious care they provided to our mother and family.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Grace Community Church, located at 1514 Flour Bluff Dr. Corpus Christi, Texas 78418
