Obituary

Leon Ernest Cadieux IV, lovingly known as “Sabastian,” passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 46. He was born on November 9, 1979, in Christian County, Kentucky. He grew up with a strong sense of family and carried that with him throughout his life.

Leon attended Flour Bluff High School, where he played football, and later worked at Brite-N-Clean Laundry Service. He was known for his hardworking nature and his willingness to help anyone in need.

Leon had a deep love for the outdoors and simple joys in life. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and spending time at the beach. He also took pleasure in collecting stamps, baseball cards, and football cards. More than anything, he cherished the time he spent with his friends and family.

He had a gift for storytelling and loved sharing tales of his adventures. His humor was unforgettable, and anyone who met him remembers how easily he could make people laugh. Leon had a kind heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his children: Leon Cadieux, Joshua J. Cadieux, Emile C. Bath, Natalie Cadieux, Julian Cadieux, and Jakob Elia Cadieux; his grandchildren, Jamieson Jones and Natalie Bath. His parents, Louis G. Marsh and Guadalupe C. Marsh, one sister Cynthia A. Cadieux (Ray L.) Lewis.

Leon is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha, and his granddaughter, Chelsea.

Leon’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
