Kevin Wade Sharp, 59 years of age, peacefully passed away at 4:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2024, at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas after a Battle with ALS Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

Kevin was born August 4, 1964 in Baton Rouge, La. and grew up Killian, La.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Kevin is joined now in heaven by his father Herman Wayne Sharp and mother Linda B. Powell.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Cruz Moreno Hernandez, whom he married in San Luis Potosi, Mexico; his children: Alyssa Camille Anderson (Dustin Anderson) and Noah Ryker Moreno Sharp; stepfather Gerald Powell; brother Herman Wayne Sharp, Jr. (Julie Sharp); sister Sharon Linda Sharp Lobo (Manuel Lobo) and grandson Isaac Key, among many nieces and nephews.

Kevin's passion for entrepreneurship led him to a successful career as a local business owner. Kevin is remembered as a kind, generous and loving man who enjoyed quality time with his wife and family.

Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 starting at 8:00 a.m. til 10:00 a.m. Kevin requested that attendees dress casual and comfortable for the services. Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. and burial to follow at 12:00 noon at Duncan cemetery 2496 Debra Ln, Corpus Christi, TX 78418.
