Keith Loyd Donnelly, son, husband, father, and dear friend joined our Lord's heavenly kingdom on Friday, February 9, 2018. A huge Packers fan and gifted upholstery man, he was known to everyone as "KD" who never knew a stranger. He was talkative from the moment he learned to speak. Keith shined his light in many lives and always extended his hand to those in need. Keith was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 11, 1960 and raised on a small dairy farm in the heartland of America in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He was not afraid of hard work and his sense of adventure extended beyond Wisconsin's borders. He arrived to Corpus Christi in 1982 and got his start at McLains Body Shop. He mastered the upholstery trade and established KD Trim with his great partner and wife Viola for well over 30 years. He built his home on the same land where he got married. His business, like his home, was built with his bare hands from the ground up. Everything he did, whether it was hunting with friends and family, giving of himself to his "PeeWee Packers" youth football team, or helping those fortunate enough to cross his path, it can be rest assured that his heart was in it.
He is survived by his loving wife Viola Donnelly, son Dominic (Lisa), daughters Tracey (Garrett), Emilia (Romeo), grandchildren Monica, Jeremy, and Anita. Parents Loyd and Karen Donnelly, sisters Valerene Vataract, Colena Webb, Tracey (Tom) Hasz, brother Kent Donnelly, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank family, friends, and everyone who knew him, for their thoughts, prayers, and sympathies.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, February 16, at Guardian Funeral Home, family will be accepting visitors from 5pm to 9pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7pm that evening.
