Karen Gutierrez Long, age 48, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away March 29th, 2023.

Karen grew up in Corpus Christi, where she resided most of her life. She enjoyed spending meaningful time with her sons, family, and many close friends. Karen may have had many medical struggles but lived life to the fullest as she was able. She loved socializing, hosting others, and enjoying many moments of laughter and joy! She made those who knew her laugh, cry, and clap at all the great stories she shared. She would do almost anything for her friends, family, and community.

Our family is glad to know that Karen is at peace because she is at rest with her Savior Jesus Christ, whom she loved and served.

Karen was preceded in death by her father Jose Luis Gutierrez and sister, Roseanne Bosman.

She is survived by her sons, Seth Gutierrez, Silas Long, and Jude Long, who she loved and cherished immensely. She is also survived by her mother, Sylvia G. Gutierrez, and siblings Ruben Fuentes, Roeanne (Mark) Peppard, Roxanne Perez, Chris (Velinda) Gutierrez, Bobby Gutierrez, Jeff Gutierrez, Abel (Amanda) Gutierrez, Eric Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, James Gutierrez, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Calvary Chapel of the Coastlands in Corpus Christi, TX, on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. All are welcome to join us in celebrating her life.
