It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jay “JJ” Ignac, who left us on June 4, 2026, at the age of 67 in Flour Bluff, Texas. He was born on July 27, 1958, in Corpus Christi. Jay was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Jay shared a loving and enduring marriage with Linda Vannoy Ignac for 37 wonderful years. Together, they built a warm and nurturing home filled with laughter and love. Jay took immense pride in his son, Anthony Jay, and his wife, Amanda. He was a devoted grandfather to his beloved grandsons, Nolan and Anthony J, who brought him endless joy and pride.

Jay is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will forever remember him for his vibrant spirit and kindness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luzelle Morris and Julius Ignac, whose memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jay had a passion for fishing, often spending cherished moments on the water with friends and family. He found true happiness in the company of his loved ones and the pets that shared his home, reflecting a life filled with love and companionship.

His legacy of love and dedication to family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share their fondest recollections.

Jay will be profoundly missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
