Julieta Rodriguez, 96, passed away January 13th 2025. She was born on July 21, 1928 to Felix Guerra and Manuela Marin Guerra in Corpus Christi, Tx where she was raised.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt to many. Julieta enjoyed dancing and loved being around her family especially during holidays. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, delicious home cooking, warm hugs and the love for her family.

Proceeded in death by: Rodolfo B. Rivas, Gilbert C. Valverde, and Jose M. Rodriguez.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Rudy Rivas (Valerie Rivas), Victoria Yolanda Rivas, Ruby Rivas, Judy Valverde Reyes (Leonard Reyes), Gilbert Kennedy Valverde, and Jimmy Preather. Grandchildren: Sean Rivas, Mark Rivas, Benjamin Rivas, Natalee Gehring, Jaqueline Schneider, Monica Calad (Dustin Serrano), Brianah Calad (Chris), Francisco Cruz, Amanda McElvain (Kinzington McElvian), Brenda Valverde, Ashley Martinez (Krystah Martinez), Kristiana Zuniga, Zachary Zuniga, Justice Preather and 14 great grandchildren.

Family visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm. Public visitation 5pm to 8pm. A rosary service will be recited at 6:30pm Thursday January 23rd 2025. Mass services will be celebrated at St. Josephs Catholic Church on Friday January 24th, 2025 at 10am.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Leonard Reyes, Zachary Zuniga, Kinzington McElvain, Kristiana Zuniga and Ashley Martinez, Monica Calad, and Dustin Serrano.
