Julia (Judy) Ramirez, 77, went to be with her Lord and heavenly family on November 13, 2022. She was born on July 31, 1945, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Bernadino and Viviana Pena. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed. Judy retired from the Corpus Christi Army Depot where she was a Parts Manager for the Black Hawk Unit for 24 years. She enjoyed music, attending concerts, dancing, and spending time with Thumper (her dog).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Reynaldo Ramirez Sr.; her parents, Bernadino and Viviana Pena; her grandson, Reynaldo Rodriguez; her great-granddaughter, Mia Garcia; her sisters, Virginia Rodriguez, Martina Garcia, and Guadalupe Martinez.

She is survived by her three children, Norma Ramirez-Guartuche (Ernest), Elma Ramirez, Reynaldo Ramirez Jr. (Christina); her sister, Angelita Cortez (Macario). She was loved and adored by her eleven grandchildren, Ryan Hatton, Crystal Manzano (Moises), Elizabeth Neeley (Quinten), Jessica Rodriguez, Jacob Longoria, David Estrada (Katharine), Robert Rodriguez, Jennifer Rodriguez, Salvador Sanchez, Vince Lopez, Marc Ramirez; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Jacob, Salvador, Ryan, David, Vince, Mark, Moises, and Honorable Pallbearer John Austin.

The family will begin to receive friends and family on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home- 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, Texas 78417 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer service to be held at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, November 22, 2022 Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel with the burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Reception to follow burial services at Guardian Hall Event Venue at 5813 Ayers.
