Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Deleon Pulido announces her passing on Friday July 5,2024 at the age of 58. Judy was born in Corpus Christi to her parents Jose Guadalupe Deleon and Isamary Sanchez on May 18, 1966. She was preceded in death by a daughter Judy Ann Pulido and her father Jose Guadalupe DeLeon.

Judy will be lovely remembered by her children, Conrado Pulido Jr , Jesus Pulido and his wife Sierra Pulido. Gonzalo Tamez V ,Thomas Theodore Tamez and his wife Amanda Tamez, Jonathan Matthew Tamez and his wife Sabrina Tamez, Her daughters Melanie Marie Tamez, Nazrin Nichole Tamez and Desiree Isamari Tamez.

She was a proud grandmother to her 16 grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter.

Judy was an adoring daughter to her surviving mother Isamary Valdez Sanchez. She was the oldest Sister to her 8 siblings.

Annette Vallejo , Brenda Lee Buenrostro, Bobby Deleon, Jose Guadalupe Deleon, Janie Michelle Alves, Monica Cantu Alcerro, Margaret Cantu Miranda, and Jason Reynaldo Sanchez.

She had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In her 58 years of life, she was married once and had another great love in her life with whom they raised all eight children together.

Her greatest gift, though was her love for cooking (fideo and tortillas) and eating her favorite foods and snacks.

Her family will miss her big presence in their lives but rejoices knowing she is in peace and resting in the presence of the Lord.

Her love of life was evident in the way she lived. Even just seeing her sitting on the couch she always seemed to crack a joke .The block will be different now without her. For us, she really is that pebble thrown into a lake as the lives she touched act as ripples that extend far beyond just us.

Judy enjoyed great music and spending time with her mother and kids.

Her love for her children was something she always expressed.

Judy spent the last 15 years with her mother. she would always say, "I'm never leaving Mom, she needs me."

Today we all miss her dearly, we will miss the nudges she gave us, the times she would tell us to shut up , the jokes she had to say, we will miss her biting her nails, we will miss her beautiful eyes, we will miss her voice, her messages, but most of all we miss her here on earth with us.

During the last days in the hospital we got to enjoy spending time with her, spoiling her, giving her all her favorite foods and snacks and loved how she had a remarkable memory.

But most of all we thank God for allowing us to spend those days with her to tell her how much we loved her.

We have peace knowing she has parted with the Lord that she is now seeing the streets of gold , like transparent glass. And as the Lord is with us so is Judy .
