Juanito Dominguez, a Vietnam Army Veteran passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 69.  He was born on August 12, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was employed by Schoefield Contractors as a Safety Inspector stationed out of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his motherMaria Luisa Hernandez, his guardians of a lifetime Ricardo and Hortencia Trevino, and his late sister Beatrice Russell and a brother Rosendo Dominguez, Jr.

Survivors include his wife Isabel Dominguez, son John Paul Dominguez, sisters Zulema Sunday and Julie (John) Navejar, brothers Gudalupe (Monica) Dominguez, Ramon (Gail) Hernandez and Frank (Mary) Hernandez. step-children Juan, Armando and Eric Torres and Yvette Mata and several nieces, nephews and seven grandchildren.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m.followed by shared memories of Juanito. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Guardian funeral home starting 8:00 a.m.  with the Funeral procession to depart at 8:30 for a 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic church 2509 Nogales/MacArthur. Burial will follow with full military honors at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Rd.

Pallbearers will be John Paul Dominguez, Guadalupe Dominguez, Frank Hernandez, Richard Gonzalez, Jr., Justin Garcia and John Navejar.
