Juanita M. Casiano, 81, passed away on September 26, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Hipolito Martinez, Sr., and Sabina Gonzales.

Juanita (Janie) loved being a stay-at-home mom to care for her children but still worked from home as a rep for Stanley, Avon, Tupperware & Mary Kay thru the years til she worked & retired from Doctor Regionals Hospital in the dietary dept. She loved help raising her grandchildren then watching her great-grandchildren being born. She loved to go on vacation to Las Vegas & Kickapoo with her husband. Bingo was always her weekend "happy place" too.

Janie is preceded in death by her husband of 47yrs Jorge Casiano Sr; her son Norberto (Bertie); her brothers Manuel Ramirez, Joe Carmona, Hipolito Jr Martinez, Henry Martinez, Hector Martinez, Jose Martinez and Ernesto Martinez; her sisters Elena Lopez, Gregoria Peña, and Maria Louisa Uvalle, Maria Carmona, Rosalinda Lucio and Gracie Chavez.

Janie is survived by her daughters Amelia(Ken) Miles, Monica (Abel) Anguiano and her son Jorge Casiano Jr. Her grandchildren Valerie(PJ)Trevino, Yvette Anguiano, Gabriel Anguiano, Joshua Miles, Corey Miles, Melanie Miles, Jorge Casiano III, Michael Casiano, Alexander Casiano, Victor Casiano and her 7 precious great-grandchildren that she adored SO much and all her nieces/nephews. "Nana" is going to be missed by SO many.

Memorial Services to Celebrate Janie's life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Guardian funeral home chapel with the family accepting visitors starting at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
