Obituary
On Monday August 9, 2021, Juanita "Janie" Carmona passed away peacefully at age 67. Juanita was born July 3, 1954 in Sinton, TX. She graduated from Roy Miller High School, and went on to earn a degree in nursing, which she continued to do until her retirement. She married Ricardo M. Carmona on September 14, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. Some of her favorite things were family, laughter, music, a good book, and her strong faith. She believed prayer could overcome anything. She is preceded in death by her husband Ricardo M. Carmona, and her grandparents Sotero and Rosa Alvarado. She is remembered by her mother Remedios Alvarado, her daughter Stacy Alvarado, and her two grandchildren Gabriella and Jacob.
Burial will be in the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Rd. on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
