IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juan Lucio
Perez
December 15, 1933 – November 17, 2023
Juan L. Perez was called home on November 17, 2023 at the age of 89.
He was born on December 15, 1933 to Juan Leobardo Perez Martinez and Josefina Vallesteros Garza.
On October 19, 1953, two hearts would be joined as one, as Juan L. Perez married Francisca Pina, creating a lifetime of happiness and love.
Juan was a traditional family man with an unbelievable work ethic, he retired from Heldenfels after 45 years of service.
He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He enjoyed visiting his family, watching his grandchildren play sports, eating pan dulce and telling his jokes to anyone and everyone who would listen. A perfect Sunday for Juan, would be to his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, playing as he gathered around spending priceless moments with those he loved.
He took pride that he was able to build the love of his life a home from the ground up. He was a true problem solver who often took on difficult projects both at work and also around the house. He was always willing and ready to help his children with their home projects. This legacy of strength and dedication will live on for generations to come.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Josefina Perez and granddaughter Maricela Sanchez.
Mr. Perez is survived by his loving wife, Francisca "Panchita" Perez, two sons: Filiberto "Phil" and wife Alma Perez, and Juan Antonio "Tony" and Ana Hernandez; grandchildren, Priscilla Perez, Marc Perez (Jakelin Castillo), Nicole Perez, Jenevieve Perez Jorge (Sherri) Sanchez, Luis (Zoe) Sanchez; sister: Guadalupe Perez de la Cerda. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Alex Robles at Alameda Oaks Nursing Home for taking great care of our loved one.
