Our beloved Juan Mendoza was born April 25th 1946 and lived a fulfilled 78 years till he took his departure from us on January 28th 2025.

Juan Mendoza was born in Reynosa, Mexico to Mr. Toribio Mendoza and Mrs. Ramona Garcia De Mendoza. Although, he resided in Corpus Christi, Texas for most of his life.

Mr. Mendoza worked at Unifirst for 20 years. He had a passion for music and gardening, he had an amazing green thumb. Tio Juan would like to fish, he enjoyed all things outdoors. Juan also had an extreme sweet tooth, we'll always remember the little chocolates he would pull out of his shirt pocket. He loved to spend time with his family. He was always here with the ones he cherished the most, every holiday, every birthday, every special occasion, you could always count on him to be there.

Above all else Tio Juan was a committed uncle to us, his closest nephews and niece have so many great memories that they could talk about forever. His name will carry on with them endlessly.

Juan is survived by his loving sisters Aurelia Mendoza and Gregoria Suarez. Nephew: John Richard (Alisa). Great-Nephews & Niece: John Jr. (Desirae), Savanna (Robert), and Adam. Great-great Niece: Violet. As well as many other nieces and nephews.

Tio Juan will be remembered by us forever. He'll always have a very special place in our hearts & our minds.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2025 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. followed by shared memories
