IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juan Pacheco,
Jr.
May 13, 1949 – June 16, 2024
Our beloved Dad, Grandpa and Dallas Cowboy / Texas Rangers fan, Juan Pacheco, Jr., 75, died on Father's Day, June 16, 2024 and will truly be missed. He was born on May 13, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Juan Pacheco, Sr. and Ester Pacheco.
Juan graduated from Roy Miller High School and shortly after enlisted in the Military. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran with the US Marine Corps and served his country from 1967 to 1970 and was awarded the Purple Heart. He continued his life of love and service with the United States Post Office for 35 years retiring in 2005. Mr. Pacheco was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His passion and integrity to those he loved was unwavering and he was truly one of the kindest men the world has ever known.
He married Rosa Garcia on September 10, 1971. Juan and Rosa grew several families having hosted dozens of foster children over the years. In his retirement, Juan enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, reading Western books, fishing, loved going to his grandkids sports events and watching his Dallas Cowboys play Football! "This is the year they will get to the Superbowl" as he would say at the start of every Season" LOL. He also loved baseball and was thrilled to see his Rangers finally win the World Series for the first time last Fall.
He leaves behind his wife Rosa, Children: Linda(Joe), Virgil(Patsy), Debbie, Roland, Michelle, Brothers: Alfino, Gilbert; Sister Rebecca, 17 Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Juan and Carmen Pacheco and Alfredo and Felicitas F. Garcia, his parents Juan and Ester Pacheco, his son Rudy Pacheco, and his grandson Rocky Gomez.
To my Husband,
I Love you more than words could ever tell. A piece of my heart will forever be missing. Your love was unconditional and ever present. There will not be a day that goes by that I will not miss you. I'm not sure how to go on without you, but I know I will see you again and we will be together as it was meant to be. I love you with all my heart always and forever.
-Your loving Wife
