Juan Galvan, passed away October 29, 2018 at the age of 82.
He was born in Bishop, Texas to his parents Fidel and Casimina Galvan on March 31, 1936.
In his prime years, his happiness was found on the road behind the wheel of his 18-wheeler. Sunday nights were never complete without the Dallas Cowboys on the TV, and lots of die hard shouting, but no barbecue; God forbid he get dirty. Juan dedicated his life to his family. He taught his children to have a firm faith in God, to be strong, loyal, respectful to others, and independent. He expressed every day of his life that one of his greatest joys were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They all brought him so much pride and happiness.
All in all, he desired to do good and to help everyone that he could. The legacy of Juan's kind spirit and zest for life will live on through his loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fidel and Casimina Galvan; his wife of 55 years, Maria Galvan; siblings: Salvador Galvan Sr., Antonio Galvan, Blas Galvan, Richardo Galvan Sr., Locario Galvan, Felix Galvan Sr., Rosa Favela, and Mercedes Rodriguez.
