Juan Gilberto Dominguez Sr., born on August 30, 1938, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Juan and Enriqueta Dominguez, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

A proud graduate of Roy Miller High School, Class of 1958, Juan went on to serve his country as a member of the Air Force 3750 Supply Squadron. After his military service, he pursued a career as a truck driver, establishing and running his own successful business. Known for his dedication and hard work, Juan's spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Juan was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Juan and Enriqueta Dominguez. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bertha E. Dominguez, and his six children: Juan G. Dominguez, Jr., John (Jen) Dominguez, Liza (Ray) Lara, Manuel (Marie) Dominguez, Bertha Ann Dominguez, and Nora A. Dominguez. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Maria Robles and Mary Jane Cisneros. Family was at the heart of Juan's world. He deeply enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, creating countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Public visitation will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Guardian Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM, followed by shared memories. Continued visitation will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024, with a funeral procession departing at 9:30 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 710 S. 19th St. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Juan's legacy of love, dedication, and hard work will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
