Our Heavenly Father called Johnny O. Diaz (Juan) to heaven on October 3, 2025, age 85. He was born on June 12, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Tx to  Antonio Carmona Diaz and Francisca Cortez Diaz.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Andrea D. Diaz. Johnny leaves behind his Children, Yvette Diaz Austin, Michelle Diaz Budd (Michael), and Johnny O. Diaz II (Melissa). Grandchildren Ramiro Flores Jr., Julia Pierce (Matthew), Alexandria Diaz Elizondo (Michael), Justin Emerson, Josephine Diaz (Fiancé Julian Moreno), Michael Budd, Max Budd, and Molly Budd. Great-granddaughter Estella Pierce. Siblings David Diaz (Linda), Tony Diaz Jr. (Maria Albeza), Mary Diaz Reyes, Connie Diaz Salinas, Carlos Diaz (preceded in death), and many nieces and nephews.

Johnny loved God and was able to quote scripture well. He was a strong leader for his immediate family; his love and guidance will be deeply missed.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. with A Memory Sharing Ceremony  be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Guardian funeral home chapel at 6:00 p.m.
