Juan "Johnny" Lugo Barrientez age 48, born August 25, 1965 was called to Heaven on May 21, 2014. He was the son of the late Jose Cuellar Barrientez and Esther Lugo Barrientez. Maternal Grandparents are Carlos L. Lugo and Elisa M. Lugo of Sinton, TX and Paternal Grandparents Juan M. Barrientez and Inez C. Barrientez. He is also preceeded in death by his brother Carlos "Charlie" Lugo Barrientez, mother Esther Lugo Barrientez, and father Jose Cuellar Barrientez. He is survived by his son Jon Matthew Chance Barrientez of Grand Prairie, TX, daughter Lily Angeline Barrientez and her mother Kim Rhea of Corpus Christi, TX, Brother Joe L. (Eufenia) Barrientez of Dothan, AL, sister Elisa "Nena" Lugo Barrientez (Andres) Rocha Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Mary I Barrientez (Burley) Maynard of Huntington, WV. One nephew Javier B. Soliz of Grand Prairie, TX, Two nieces, Monica Ensign of Huntington, WV and Rovina Ross of Chesapeake, OH. Four great nephews, Mark, Rylan, Tony, and D.J. One great niece Alejandra. He was the owner of Golden Touch Tree Service. He was a member of Outlaws Dart Team out of Cody's. He was an avid music lover attending numerous concerts over his lifetime. He enjoyed playing golf with his close buddies. He loved life and lived each and every day to the fullest. He will be missed by a host of countless relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Guardian Funeral Home & Crematory 5922 Crosstown Corpus Christi, TX 78417 (361) 853-0155 on Monday May 26 from 4pm-9pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Burial to follow at Laguna Gardens Cemetery 2500 Debra Ln. in Flour Bluff. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to NavyArmy Community Credit Union account number 1927459, or can be mailed to NavyArmy Community Credit Union PO Box 81349 Corpus Christi, TX 78468 under Mary I. Maynard for funeral expenses.
