Joseph Leslie Middleton, passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 57.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 19, 1964 to Clinton and Annie Mae Middleton.

Beloved father, son, brother, uncles, cousin and friend. Throughout his life he served as a mentor not only to his family, the neighborhood community and his friends. His love and care he gladly shared without the need for return; he was selfless to the true meaning of the word. The only thing he asked for in return was to see you succeed.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents: Clinton and Annie Mae Middleton; wife: Stephanie Knight; brother: Clinton Thomas Middleton and son: Octavius Thomas Middleton.

Joseph leaves behind to cherish these memories: 8 children: Leatreasa Middleton, Portia Purcell, Domonique Middleton, Cierra Knight, Ashley Scoon, Brandon Martin, Clinton Aaron Middleton, Joseph Malik Middleton; 6 grandchildren: Alonzo Balderas, Antonio Balderas, Hailey Martin, Zane Martin, Aja Brown, Ny'Azah Brown; sister: Debra Lynn Middleton; along with a host of other members of the family and countless friends whom he loved.

Public Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A with the Celebration of Life Services to start at 5:00 p.m. that afternoon.
