Josephine Munoz Cisneros, age 85, passed away on November 9, 2016. She was born in Del Rio, Texas on September 30, 1931, to Martin Munoz and Carmen Burrola Munoz. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Jose "Ruben" Cisneros; daughter, Carole Anne Diaz; and grandson Jonathan Felix Gutierrez. Josephine is survived by her brother, Francisco "Paco" Munoz; four children, Christine Colunga, Richard "Rick" Cisneros, Carmen Yanez and Catherine (Felix) Gutierrez; 14 grandchildren, Corina Puente, Charlie Colunga, Tony Colunga, Oscar Yanez Jr., Christi Ann Collier, Randy Yanez, Cathleen Ramirez, Chelsea Aguilar, Celeste Diaz, Crystal Diaz, Ciara Barnes, Caren Gutierrez and Christopher Gutierrez; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express our thanks to Vanessa Longoria and Zinnia Ybarra for their compassionate care.
At Josephine's request no services will be held.
