Jose Alejandro Valdez passed away on November 7, 2013. He was born on November 7, 1934 in Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico. He was a resident of Eagle Pass, Texas then moved to live with his daughter and son in law in Corpus Christi, Texas. Joe, 'El Guero' as he was called by his friends, loved to travel throughout the United States & Mexico. He also loved to sing and dance which he would often do at Texas Adult Day Care and as a resident of Trisun Care Center & Trisun Westwood. He touched the lives of many residents and was loved and cared for by many of the employees. The family would like to thank all the caregivers that made up his second family for their loving care.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Maria Valdez Alejandro and his sister Dora A. Saldana.
He is survived by his sisters, Grace (Victor) Gonzalez, Gloria Banda, Eglantina Martinez, his brother in law David Saldana, his daughter Connie (Luis) Hinojosa and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 12th, at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown, State Hwy 286, Corpus Christi, Texas.
Funeral Services will be in Eagle Pass, Texas.
