The family of Jose Lee "Lee'O" Lopez of Corpus Christ, Texas is saddened to announce his passing on August 5, 2024, at the age of 66 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Crisogono and Juanita, wife, Susan, and brother, Daniel Lopez.

Lee'O leaves behind two wonderful sons, BJ (Jessica) and Rudy (Lisette), and four beautiful granddaughters. Also, three sisters and two brothers, Cris "Crisco" (Cristina), Maria Elena "Metch" (Ruben), Joe Henry "Rick'O" (Belinda), Rosario "Chayo" (Rene), Mary Jane, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Lee'O was a proud veteran, an Army tanker for Big Red 1, an avid fisherman, enjoyed barbecuing and loved spending time with family.

Fisherman's Prayer

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, and when it comes to my last cast I then must humbly pray.

When in the Lord's safe landing net, I'm peacefully asleep.

That in His mercy, I be judged good enough to keep.
