Obituary
José Jorge Sanchez, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 11, 2023. José was born in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico on July 6, 1941. José was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness. He remained loyal until the very end, even being at the preaching service group the day before his passing. Being at the meetings was a big priority for José and taking care of his responsibilities for the congregation was something that would bring him great joy. He served the congregation as an elder and full time pioneer for many years. José was a barber for most of his life, owning several barber shops along the way, one of which still operates in California. He enjoyed gardening and having his "plantitas" well taken care of. José made many friends who will miss him dearly now that he's not here.
José is survived by his wife, Maria and their daughter Lulú (Hector) Robledo. He will also be missed by his sons Jose Jorge (Norma), and Ignacio (Elizabeth). His daughters Carmen (Terry) Hollis, Luz (Jerry) Nuñez, and Julie Sanchez. As well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Maria would like to express gratitude towards Carmen, Luz and Maribel for all their help and support. The Sanchez family would like to give a special thanks to all the brothers and sisters and other friends for their prayers, love and support during such difficult times. José Jorge Sanchez, 81, murio tranquilamente el 11 de Abril 2023 rodeado de su familia. José nació el 6 de Julio 1941 en Orizaba Veracruz México. José era un Testigo de Jehová y fuel leal hasta el último momento. El tomaba sus responsabilidades de cuidar a la congregación muy en serio y le traía gozo servir como precursor y anciano. Aún el día antes de su muerte, pudo sacar el grupo de predicación por medio de Zoom. José tenía muchos amigos que lo van a extrañar ahora que no está.
Desde edad temprana, José emprendió el oficio de peluquero. Durante todos los años que se dedico a esto, pudo tener varias peluquerías en diferentes lugares. Una de ellas sigue operando en California. Otra cosa que le gustaba a José era la jardinería y disfrutaba atender sus plantitas.
A José le sobrevive su esposa Maria la hija de ellos, Lulú(Hector) Robledo. Jose también lo extrañaran sus hijos José (Norma) e Ignacio (Elizabeth) al igual que sus hijas, Carmen (Terry) Hollis, Luz (Jerry) Nuñez y Julie Sanchez. Además de sobrinos, sobrinas, nietos y bisnietos.
María quiere expresar gratitud a Carmen, Luz y Maribel por su ayuda y apoyo en este tiempo tan difícil. Toda la familia Sanchez les da las gracias a todos los hermanos y hermanas que constantemente estuvieron al pendiente de José y la familia por medio de sus oraciones y apoyo.
