Jose Genuino, 53 years old, was called to be by the side of our Lord last Sunday, September 18, 2016 leaving behind his children, John Genuino, Angelo Genuino and Joel Genuino, siblings, Cynthia Salloum and Jingky Genuino and godchildren, Michelle Danao and Harmon Galleros. He was born and raised in the Philippines by Guillermo Genuino and Angelita Genuino. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Albina Trias Genuino and grandfather, Angel M. Genuino. In his early years, Jose was a very simple man and was contented about what life will have given him no matter how small or big the blessing is. He took up Engineering in Adamson's University, Philippines earning his Bachelor's degree, and later on had a family of his own. He migrated to the United States to work in 1998 to support his family. He stayed and worked in California during his early years in the United States and later on decided to work and stay in Texas to reunite with his sister Cynthia Salloum. Jose was a selfless man and a proud father. He had a passion for helping out people. He even raised his beloved nephews, Mark Salloum,& Michael Salloum,niece, Liza Salloum, like his own, in return he was loved back. He seized happiness by helping everyone and seeing his children grow up. He was everyone's best friend and everyone's father. Jose's viewing and Rosary was held at Guardian funeral home on Friday, September 23, 2016. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 7522 Everhart Rd. He will be laid to rest in Cavite, Philippines.
