Jose Delgado Jr., aged 63 of Buda,Texas. was called to heaven on January 2, 2014. Jose was born on October 18th 1950. Jose was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Dominga Delgado. Jose was a very beloved father. He was survived by his children Jason Lopez, Jessica Mattson, Jacquelyn Delgado, and several grandchildren.
Jose was born and raised in San Diego,Texas. He was on the Football team and graduated from San Diego High school in 1969. He served in the Air Force for 21 years and retired as a Master Sargent. He continued his education and received a Master's degree in education. He retired from teaching at Hays ISD after 15 years. Jose was a member of the VFW in Manchaca, Texas # 3377
Family viewing will be held on Monday the 6th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. following with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Guardian funeral home chapel B. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Most Precious Blood Catholic church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Burial will follow with Military Honors at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 IH 37 access rd. exit 9 Rand Morgan.
