Jose Daniel Aleman, 66, passed away March 3, 2014. He was born in San Diego, Texas on October 14, 1947 to Daniel A. Aleman and Lucinda Esparza Aleman who preceded him in death. Mr. Aleman served his country proudly in the U. S. Air Force and he retired from U.S. Postal Service. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. After J.D. retired he loved spending time with his family and friends Bar-b-quing and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his children, Jose Daniel Aleman, Jr., from Michigan, Melissa Graham, and Jeremy Aleman, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, his siblings, Luis Felipe (Bobbie) Aleman, Juan Gilberto (Isabel) Aleman, Alma Rosa Aleman, Mary Ann (Jorge) Zaragoza, Linda Caldera, Cindy Marie Aleman, Desi Andrew (Letty) Aleman, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Guardian funeral home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Monday, March 10, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Comanche St. Burial will follow with Military honors at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery, 9974 IH 37 access rd.
