Jose Angel Arredondo, III was called home on January 18 2024 at the age of 62.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to his parents Ruby Perez and Jose Angel Arredondo, II, on August 18, 1961.

A beloved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest.

He found great joy being outdoors; hunting and fishing were some of his favorite pastimes. He was known as the cable guy to most. He was always ready to lend a hand to his neighbors and friends; always with a smile on his face.

He served his country in the United States Army from 1979 – 1985; and was proud of that fact.

Our dad had many people who loved him and he loved them back.

His presence on this earth may be gone, but his wise words and memories will never leave us.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Ruby Perez and Jose Angel Arredondo, II; along with his son Eric Arredondo who passed on July 13, 2005.

He is survived by his daughters: Jeneva Arredondo and Angel Cisneros; sons: David Rodela, Anthony Rodela, Michael Valenzuela, Thomas Gonzales; along with a host of extended members of family who loved him dearly.

Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown , with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Guardian FH, with the Catholic Chapel Service to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. that morning, followed by Burial with Full Military Honors at 11:00 a.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd.
