Jose (Joe) Antonio Martinez Jr. passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 66. He was born January 13,1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas son of Jose Antonio and Evelina Hernandez Martinez.
He graduated from Carroll High School in 1977. After graduation he worked in Auto parts and service for 48 years. The last 27 with AutoNation Chevrolet. He had several hobbies which in his youth he had a passion for baseball where he held his position on the pitcher's mound. He purchased his first motorcycle and had a passion for riding, he enjoyed having his friends over for cookouts, gatherings and his cold coffee. He was a Taco Tuesday guy and spent quality time with family making memories having his cold coffee at his favorite restaurant Taqueria Jalisco on Cimarron. Joe was loyal, respectful, responsible, hard worker and supportive in all he did. He was a jokester, always had a joke to tell. Joe was a peaceful soul, anyone who knew him would always say, Joe he's such good people.
He was predeceased by his parents: Jose Antonio Martinez and Evelina Hernandez Martinez.
Joe will forever be cherished by his love and companion, Linda Rios by his side for 39 years, son: Joshua (Yulma) Rios. Grand children: JD Rios ( Patience), Noah, Dominic and Michael Rios. Sister: Esther Martinez, Brother : Ruben Martinez. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, biker friends, work family and neighborhood friends all who loved him and will dearly miss him.
A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Most Precious Blood Catholic church 3502 Saratoga Blvd.
