John Peter Huhn was called home on January 2, 2024 at the age of 91.

He was born on March 4, 1932 to his parents John and Elizabeth Huhn in Detroit, Michigan.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. John was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 37 years. John married Naomi Gibson on August 28, 1954. They were married for over 69 years. Together they shared a love for travel and dancing.

He leaves, to cherish these memories, his wife Naomi; four children: Michael (Cathie), Thomas (Nancy), Jeanne (Tam), Janet (Joseph); in addition 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren along with his brother Paul.

John will always be remembered for his devotion to family and loyalty to friends.

All Funeral Services will held on Friday, January 26, 2024

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 3513 Cimarron Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414

Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78410
