Johann Mueller (Hans)was born as one of three brothers, on June 11, 1936 in Niederzier Germany, to Apolonia Zehnpfennig and Peter Mueller. He started working at a young age and met his wife Elizabeth Herper, whom he married in 1958.They built a home in Birkesdorf and had one daughter Petra, in 1962.

He lived and worked almost all his life in Birkesdorf, and family and friends know him as Hans. Hans was involved in a lot of organizations, to name a few, (Church choirs, Maennergesangverein, Walking groups and St. Petrus Schuetzen.) In 1973 he was crowned the king (Schützenkoenig of Birkesdorf) for a year. Hans sang as tenor, in choirs, churches, at weddings and even toured the United States and Canada back in 1996.This was also his first time flying.

After his wife passed in 2008, he periodically stayed with his daughter, who was stationed in Germany and when they left in 2015 to Corpus Christi Texas, he decided to live with his daughter Petra, son-in-law James and grandchildren Roshan, Keanu in 2016.

He was reunited with his beloved wife Elisabeth on May 15, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving behind his daughter Petra with Husband James and grandchildren Roshan and Keanu. His Brother and Family who still reside in Germany as well as extended Family and many friends.
