Joe Anthony Gonzalez was called home to heaven on May 15, 2017 at the age of 25; passing away at home with the love and prayers of his family surrounding him. He was a loving, fun filled, bright young man who was loved by all. He will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by grandfather, Robert F. Peralez and grandmother, Ana Maria L. De Gonzalez.He is survived by his parents, Francisco and Lorraine Gonzalez; brother, Gerald L Brown (Jessica); sisters, Christina M. Brown (Dustin), Elizabeth R. Gonzalez (Marty); five nephews and one niece; grandmother, Aurora P. Peralez; step-grandmother, Raquel R. Peralez; grandfather, Andres A. Gonzalez (Blanca); and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

We would like to give thanks to the Physicians at the VPA and Hospice Staff for the wonderful care given to him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 23, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Guardian Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Cyril and Methodius Church, 2310 S.P.I.D, C.C., TX. 78415. Joe Anthony will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
