Jimmy Solis

Jimmy Solis, 64, went to be with our Lord Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born on September 22, 1951 and was the 5th child to his parents Narciso and Rebecca Solis. Jimmy was a Army Veteran and retired from Citgo Refinery after 28 years.
He liked living the simple life and was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Jimmy was well known for his sense of humor and loved listening to music, telling jokes while barbecuing with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Narciso and Rebecca Solis, his sister Minerva Rodriguez and brother Narciso Solis Jr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years Viola Solis; daughters Anita, Cynthia (Ruben), Adela; sons Johnny (Angelique), Alfredo (Faith) and Jimmy (Yvette) Jr.; his sisters Lydia (Robert) Pena and Isabel Wisnoski; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren who will deeply miss their "Popo" and numerous nieces and nephews. Family gathering will begin on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Guardian funeral home chapel at 5:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary and Celebration of Jimmy's life to be held at 7:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors.
