Jesus E. Vela, age 87 passed away peacefully on March 25, 2018 with his loving wife by his side. He was born on September 23,1930 to Refugio and Gregoria Vela in Normana ,Texas. He was a hard- working man all of his life, He loved music and dancing but most of all he loved his family. He was a loving husband, father, grand father, brother and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Aurora Moreno and brothers Porfirio, Francisco, Ignacio,Refugio Jr.,Jose Angel and Gregorio Vela. He is survived by his loving wife Isabel S. Vela, Three daughters, Gloria (James Sr.) Davis, Nancy Robinson, Mary Silvas. Two sons, Miguel Angel (Candice) Fuentes and Ricardo Fuentes, Two sisters, Lupe Guerra and Angelita Belmarez, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who he loved dearly. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27th 2018 from 5pm-9pm with a Holy Rosary at 7pm. Mass will be held Wednesday, March 28th 2018 at 10 am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church followed by interment at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem, Texas.
