IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jesus B.
Sanchez
May 11, 1955 – June 26, 2019
Jesus B. Sanchez passed away June 26, 2019 at the age of 64.
He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to his mother Ubense Benavidez on May 11, 1955.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
It is nearly impossible to express all of the wonderful memories which Jesse blessed us with, or try and capture, in only a few words what a great man he was. To his friends, they would say he was so generous with his time, thoughtful and compassionate, but also a force to be reckoned with. "As long as Jesse was around, you never felt alone." To his many family members he was the life of the party. He had a gift of bringing them all together, the joy which he felt in these times kept his heart happy till the end. To his wife he was her best friend and the love of her life. His romantic heart carried them through any trial. He could always bring a smile to her face; especially when he dedicated songs to her in the backyard as he sang along to the lyrics.
As children, Jesse and Sally's "relationship" began as neighbors and best friends. Walking to school together, holding hands in the halls; enjoying this sweet love. As time passed, the world lead them on separate paths, but this beautiful bond would find its way later in life.
On July 7, 2007 Jesse and Sally would officially tie the knot and join hearts in marriage while in Las Vegas. Although, if we were to count the years they spent together till now, we'd estimate about 25! From the point in which God returned these hearts as one, countless memories were forged. In 1997 Sally would support Jesse through Del Mar College allowing him to obtain his degree and professional licensing as a Mechanic; his life's passion, now a reality.
We must write about the happiness which Vegas brought him, he lived his best life there; dancing in the streets with a cold beer in hand, singing every song at the top of his lungs. He was free. He was truly a happy man who loved life and those he surrounded himself with. He has many special places in his heart for those he kept close. The legacy of Jesse's kind spirit, passion for sports, love of cars, and zest for life will live on forever. He was what one might call a die hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, his faith in HIS team, never wavered!
Although he is no longer with us in the physical sense, his spirit fills many hearts and minds today. Your smile, we will never forget! Vegas won't be the same without you.
He joins now in heaven, 3 young siblings and an adult brother.
Jesse leaves behind, to cherish these memories; his devoted wife Sally Sanchez; his children: Ubense, Angelita, Janice, Roman, Rene, Jesus, Jr.; step-daughter: Michelle; 15 siblings; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins,
Public Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A.
