Jesus Manuel Salinas, passed away November 14, 2017. He was 70 years old. Jesse was born in Pharr, Texas to Herminio and Juanita Salinas on October 12, 1947.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Mario Salinas.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, Maria Dolores Salinas his loving wife of 46 years; a son Jesse Manuel Salinas Jr. (Emma), a son Danny Luis Salinas (Maria), a daughter Roseann Maria Simmons (Casey), 3 brothers; Joe Salinas (Sherrie), Elias Salinas (Sandra), Israel Salinas (Concha), 6 sisters; Geneva Vasquez (Jesse), Olga Salinas (Arturo), Herminia Stetson ( Philip), Nellie Czech (Floyd), Rosie Salinas, Linda Salinas; one grandson Joshua Daniel Salinas and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 17, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening at Guardian Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 18, at 10:30 a.m. at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, final viewing will take place at 8:30 a.m. that day at the funeral home before the mass. All will meet at the church, there will be no formal procession.
Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 12 noon.
