Jesus Z. Rodriguez was called home on October 15, 2021 with his family by his side.

Jesus was born on May 17,1952 in Robstown, Texas. He was a very loving son, brother, father, grandfather and a very good friend to all who was a part of his life.

He is survived by his mother Esperanza Z. Rodriguez; Three sisters: Gracie, Lydia and Margie (Edward) Recio; Two sons: Jesus (Vanessa) Rodriguez Jr. and Jerry (Sandra) Rodriguez; Six grandchildren: Ashley Nicole, Gabrielle Jae, Nylea Lynn, Alejandra Marie, Jerry Isaac, Josiah Leonardo and soon to be born granddaughter. Two great grandchildren: Alan Jack and Abram James.

A special thanks to Lucia Rosenbaum who was a good friend, companion and gave him comfort for the past several years.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with music from 6:30 to 7 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary from 7 to 8 p.m. A memorial lunch will also be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the residence of Jesus Z. Rodriguez.
