Jesus Maldonado, Jr., 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife at his side.  Mr. Maldonado served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife Graciela E. Maldonado, his sisters and brothers, Lupita Redd, Alice Maldonado, San Juanita San Miguel, Juan J. Maldonado, Johnny Joe Maldonado and Frank Maldonado and numerous nieces & nephews.Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Service to Celebrate Jesus's life to begin at 12:00 noon with burial to follow with full military honors at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Rd. Pallbearers will be Anthony Casarez, Cele Vivanco, Arthur Lopez, Erica Lynn Maldonado, Jose Garza and Pete Maldonado, Jr.
