Jessica Ashlea Vaclavik Hensiek 39, passed away on April 18, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas
from kidney and Type 1 Diabetes complications. Jessica was born on April 25, 1984, in Corpus
Christi, Texas and was a lifelong resident there.
Jessica is survived by her son Reese Evans of Mathis, Texas, her daughter Harper Hensiek of
Corpus Christi, Texas; her mother & step-father, Robin (Isbell) & Dennis Johnson of Wasilla,
Alaska; her brother & sister-in-law, Joshua & Suzie Vaclavik of Houston, Texas; husband
Jeremy Hensiek & her step-sons Ethan, Jace & Jaxson all of Corpus Christi, Texas; aunts Alice
Vandeventer of Austin, Texas & Billie Hoffman of Missouri City, Texas; uncle Don Isbell of Eagle
River, Alaska; numerous cousins in Texas, California, Alaska, Idaho & Florida. Jessica is also
survived by her best friend, Holly Hanson & her daughters Alana & Eastyn all of Corpus Christi,
Texas.
Jessica was preceded in death by her father Tony Vaclavik of Texas and her paternal & maternal
grandparents.
Jessica was studying bookkeeping and at various times, she was employed at different oilfield
service companies in their accounting departments.
Jessica's favorite place was the beach. She loved spending time with Reese, Harper and family
& friends laughing and creating wonderful memories.
Jess had a beautiful soul and her spirit touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by all
who knew her.
