Jessica (Weda) Corpus, age 42, earned her wings February 5, 2021 after a long battle with health different health issues.

She joins now in heaven her father Jose Corpus; grandfather Ramon Ledesma; sister Kristie Corpus and her beloved son Jeffery Pleasant.

She survived by her two kids Daniel Jose Cardenas and Brianna Nykole Pleasant; her long time companion Jose Manuel Rodriguez and 3 step kids Yzenia Mercedes, Jose Manuel, Joel Cruz Rodriguez; her lovely mother Herlinda L.Corpus; 6 siblings: Jose, Erika, Linda Jo, Crystal Corpus, Ninfa Ledesma, and Jennifer Esquivel. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Weda had a beautiful spirit that was full of love. She had a way of bringing joy through laughter; always with a smile on her face and a joke on her lips. Her caring soul would help out anyone in need. She was such a great mother who would put anyone before herself. She fought a great battle to the end. Her legacy will live on in our hearts for generations to come.

Family will receive guests on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. that evening.
